Student Awards
The Pleasantville High School Awards Committee is comprised of administrators, guidance counselors, and the curriculum coordinator. Not all awards are given each year.
Departmental Awards
- Outstanding Achievement Awards are based on the highest overall GPA for the course.
- Commitment to Studies Awards are based on the following criteria:
- Demonstrates consistent hard work and dedication towards academic studies.
- Regularly attends additional help sessions or seeks assistance when encountering difficulties.
- Exhibits resilience and perseverance in overcoming challenges, particularly in mastering complex course content.
- Actively engages in self-directed learning strategies to enhance understanding and comprehension of academic material.
- Shows a genuine commitment to academic improvement and growth through consistent effort and determination.
